New home Cyprus - The island for high performers

At the end of 2025 we packed up our life in Germany and moved to Cyprus, from a spot southeast of Munich all the way to Paphos, right on the western coast of the island. The question we get asked most often, by far, is simply why. The honest answer: Cyprus is built around a principle we already believed in ourselves long before we ever set foot here, whoever performs more should get more back in return. Genuinely favorable taxation, an international, entrepreneur-friendly business climate and a government that actively courts ambitious founders instead of burying them in paperwork all add up to conditions that reward output instead of quietly punishing it. The wider community here is full of founders and remote teams building genuinely international companies too, which makes the whole environment feel less like an exception and more like the new normal. For a team that measures itself by results rather than hours logged at a desk, that combination is exactly the kind of environment worth relocating an entire agency for.

What we did not fully expect was how much the island itself would add on top of all that. Paphos has a mentality that matches ours closely: direct, warm and unmistakably driven, alongside food genuinely worth looking forward to every single day and weather that turns an ordinary Tuesday into a reason to work outside instead of behind a desk. Instead of slowing us down, it has done the exact opposite, we feel like we work even harder here now than we ever did back in Germany, channeling that energy straight into getting our clients the results they came to us for in the first place. Client calls now happen with the sea in view instead of a parking lot. Somehow that changes the whole tone of the workday for the better. And despite the distance on the map, home never actually feels far away, family and friends back in Germany are only a medium-haul flight away, close enough that nothing important ever really gets left behind.

Cyprus did not just hand us better weather and a nicer view from the office window. It gave us an entire environment that mirrors exactly how we think about performance and reward. That mindset shows up directly in the energy we now bring to every single client project we take on, wherever in the world that client happens to be.
